The Mojaba mobile website publishing system provides for permission-based recording of a user’s location. We’re often asked about the difference between the Mojaba analytics and that which is provided by Google.
The screens below show the difference in level of detail. Mojaba asks for the user to share the GPS coordinates from their smartphone. When they do, that information is recorded and matched up with any other actions they take while visiting the mobile website. Thus Mojaba site creators have access to street-level location information for every mobile site they create. This enables the analysis of user behaviors based on location.
The greatest level of detail Google Ananlytics provides is to the city-level. Google Analytics is a very capable system and one which we use ourselves at Torsion Mobile. However, when it comes to providing user insight on a detailed scale, only Mojaba’s street-level geoanalytics delivers true location-based analysis and insight.

Mojaba (top) provides street-level reporting of mobile website user locations. Google Analytics (bottom) reports at the city-level.
