We were discussing how QR Codes were starting to pop up all over, but how many of the resulting web pages presented to the user were not mobile-optimized. That’s a major faux pas in our mind and one that demonstrates whomever put together the marketing program for those QR codes, didn’t grasp the fact that nearly anyone scanning them will be using their smartphone to do it. To not present a mobile-optimized experience in that context is a major failure a waste of the client’s money.
